It's been a whopping 25 years since the release of Episode 1 of the Star Wars films. "The Phantom Menace" is about the efforts to end a trade blockade on the remote planet Naboo. The Jedi's efforts to resolve the trade dispute are disrupted in a consequential battle by a Sith named Darth Maul. Darth Maul's ship is notable for its unusually long nose. Its best feature is by far its cloaking device, which renders the ship invisible to most sensors. The device is powered by rare and expensive Stygium crystals, so similar cloaking devices are rarely found on other ships. The powerful ion drive enables high speeds in space and up to 1,180 kilometers per hour in a planet's atmosphere.
