Gollum - The Lord of the Rings
Gollum, the emaciated figure from Lord of the Rings. Through the discovery of the "ring", the former ring of power of the dark ruler Sauron, Sméagol's character changed from a once unsuspecting hobbit to an ugly villain. The ring gave him a supernaturally long life, but gradually made his body more and more emaciated and also changed his mind, which longed for the ring. Although Gollum both desired and hated the ring, he could never tear himself away from it. After he loses the ring, he meets the hobbit Frodo while searching for it, who wants to destroy the ring in order to destroy the ring's power. The devious Gollum, originally a hobbit named Sméagol, is one of the main villains from the novel series The Lord of the Rings and the movie blockbusters of the same name. The figure is faithfully reproduced in the crouched posture typical of Gollum.
